1. Stairwell Before Replacement

The existing stairwell was planned and constructed poorly without permit by the previous home owner. A wall and sliding glass door had been added to the deck. Additionally, the deck was altered to make a hole for the stairs in a manner that was both dangerous and against residential building code. All of this had to be ripped out prior to construction.
